IMPACT OF AIDS/HIV ON INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES:  This webinar will provide a brief history and progress with treatment for those living with AIDS/HIV.  We will also explore prevention; confidentiality mandates, particularly for individuals with disabilities who also live in a congregate care setting, and how to access services.  (Pending 1.0 CEU/NCG-Pending 1.0 MCLE credits)

About the presenter:

Phoebe Maholovich MSN, RN Director of Prevention Services, Central Illinois Friends, Ms. Maholovich is a registered nurse that has held a variety of patient care roles ranging from family practice, home health, travel nursing, and pediatric cardiology.  After earning a Master’s degree in nursing education, Ms. Maholovich taught courses on nursing leadership, nursing fundamentals, and community health nursing. Currently, she is the acting Director of Prevention Services at Central Illinois Friends in Peoria Il.  Central Illinois Friends is a nonprofit specializing in advocacy for people living with HIV, sexual health education and prevention, as well as STI testing.
